Peter
Cowen, Europe's leading teaching professional, launched
the new Peter Cowen Golf Academy at the prestigious Emirates
Golf Club in Dubai on 1st September 2002
Negotiations
between Peter's management Company Peter Cowen Golf
and Mr Mohamed Bu Amim Emirates Golf Club General Manager
were concluded at the 2002 Volvo PGA Championship at
Wentworth. (Pictured are Peter and Mr Bu Amim together

Mr
Mohamed Bu Amim, said " It is an exciting time
for the Emirates Golf Club and we look forward to welcoming
Peter and his team who offer an unparalleled teaching
service in Dubai to our existing members and visitors
to the Emirates Golf Club"
Peter's team of personally trained Professionals which
will include a Lady Professional are looking forward
to working with the Emirates team and are confident
that people requiring the total golfing experience will
find the Academy ideally suited to all levels and standards
of Golf.
Cowen

is undoubtedly one of the finest facilities I have seen,
it was my intention to use Emirates Golf Club as my
Winter teaching base, but when the opportunity arose
to have a full time Academy with my own teaching staff,
I naturally had no hesitation in agreeing". Cowen
will be spending most of his time on the European Tour
promoting his association with Emirates Golf Club and
will be in Dubai from October to December as planned.
