About ResortMaldives

ResortMaldives is an independent guide to choosing a Maldives resort. Two islands with the same price can feel completely different, and the details that decide a trip are scattered across brochures and booking pages. We gather them in one place, check them against sources, and let you compare resorts on what matters to you: how you arrive, the reef, the beach, privacy, food and family fit.

Every fact on a resort page comes from a named source and carries the date it was checked. Scores appear only once they are verified. If we do not know something, the page says so instead of guessing. A cost is shown only when the amounts behind it are verified, and anything left out is labelled. Read the detail on how we rank.

Your shortlist is built from your answers and the verified facts about each resort. Partner links, prices and commissions play no part in the order.

Some links earn us a fee if you book. It never affects how resorts are ranked. Booking happens with the resort or partner you choose; we do not take bookings.

Photographs that are not of a specific resort are labelled as general scenes and credited on the image credits page. A photograph of a named resort appears only when we hold a licence for it; until then a resort shows a map-based tile built from its verified position.
