When you use the matcher, your answers are encoded in the address of your results page, so you can return to or share that link. They are sent to our server to work out the shortlist. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and we do not keep your answers in an account or a database.

Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, which can include the address of a page you open (and so the answers in a results link) and your IP address. We use them to keep the site running and secure.

When you click a booking link we record which resort, partner and page the click came from, the time and a random click reference, so the partner can credit us. No personal details are included. The partner's own site then applies its own policy.

The map loads map tiles from MapTiler, which receives your IP address and the area you are viewing in order to serve them.

We take part in the Travelpayouts affiliate network. If you accept tracking on the cookie banner, a Travelpayouts script (Drive) loads from emrldtp.com. It may set cookies or similar identifiers, receive your IP address and the address of the page you are viewing, and, where it finds links to partner brands, rewrite them into affiliate links so the partner can credit us. Travelpayouts decides what it stores and for how long, under its own privacy information. If you decline, the script never loads. Booking links still work, and affiliate links never change how resorts are ranked.

Usage analytics load only if the site has them switched on and you accept them. Nothing, including affiliate tracking, is loaded or set before you choose. Details and your choice are on the cookies page.

Because we do not keep your answers against your identity, there is usually nothing linked to you. You can clear your browser storage at any time.

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and its date.
